  My one and only experience with Novo was very unfortunate. It was highly recommended by friends so I brought an old friend visiting from out of state there for dinner. We had reservations and were seated downstairs next to two large parties seated at banquet tables. The noise was so loud from these groups that my guest and I could not even hear the waiter, much less each other. The outdoor patio was closed due to inclement weather, so the restaurant packed everyone in close together regardless of the inhospitable ambiance. We received no apology from the restaurant at the time and when I later called to talk with Novo’s manager, I did not hear back. I conclude that Novo’s reputation exceeds its performance. I am happy to take my business elsewhere. Blue is an excellent alternative: excellent food, ambiance and service.
